After the fire is, the structure is safe, and you begin to look at what has been damaged. We highly recommend you do not attempt to clean fire-damaged items on your own. There are a few important reasons why:
- Fires create very toxic chemicals that are harmful to your health. We take safety precautions ourselves when handling fire-damaged contents and belongings.
- Attempting to clean items incorrectly can make them unsalvagable. Properly restoring fire-damaged contents takes knowledge and skill in how to handle each item.
We do recommend that you take photos of these items and wear gloves when handling them. Feel free to sort out very important items that you want us to prioritize restoring first. We do our best to accommodate these types of situations.
The answer to this question depends on the extent of the damage to your property. If the property is not safe to be inhabited then, yes.
We recommend that you check with your insurance company on what off-site living accommodations they provide. Many insurance policies may cover the cost of a hotel, rental, or another living arrangement.
Your insurance company may have asked you to inventory non-restorable items after your fire damage. While this may seem stressful, we can help you with that as well.
During our fire remediation process, we inventory items that we pack up to clean and restore. We recommend using pen and paper or an excel spreadsheet to keep track of this.
Simply name the item, the approximate date(month and year are fine) it was purchased, and the estimated value. Take a photo of the item as well.
Yes, absolutely. If the damage is extensive and we pack out your belongings for restoration at our facility. Part of the prioritizing process is helping you to figure out what items you will need sooner rather than later. This helps our content cleaning team to prioritize as well. We work very hard and efficiently to get you back to normal as quickly as possible.

Fire damage process
Consultation
When you call, a member of our team will have a series of questions to ask. These questions help our staff dispatch the appropriate people and equipment to begin the fire restoration process.
Inspection
Once it is deterrmined the property is safe to enter. We inspect the entire property including the attic, HVAC system, and affected building materials. We take measurements and photos to being putting together a scope of work
Security
We offer board up and tarping services follow a property fire. Our goal is to secure your property and protect it from the weather elements as well us uninvited guests. This can include the pack out of belongings to take to our secure facility for restoration.
Demolition
Any burnt building materials are typically removed and discarded. This includes walls, flooring, ceilings, appliances, furniture, and more. We may have to remove wet materials from the water used to put out the fire too.
Drying
In most severe fire damage cases there is also water damage present. We bring in industrial fans, dehumidifiers and other drying equipment to remove excess moisture within the structure. This ensures mold doesn't grow from that moisture after the re-build process
Cleaning
We use a variety of cleaning agents made specifically to attack smoke and soot. Restorable areas are cleaned from top to bottom using a variety of processes to remove the toxic soot residues. Our team wears PPE when cleaning to ensure their safety. We also clean the HVAC system if it is restorable.
Deodorization
There are a number of techniques, products, and equipment that tackles smoke odors. From liquid deodorizers that attack smoke at the molecular level to ozone machines. We have the products and equipment to remove the smoke odor caused by fire damage.
Content Cleaning
If the fire damage is minimal we may clean your contents on-site. If the damage is extensive, we will pack them up and clean at our facility. We can restore everything from clothes, furniture, dishes, jewelery, and even electronics.
