Our Beginning: Built on Faith, Family, and Purpose
Crown began in 2006 with a simple conviction: put your heart into serving people and build something that brings your family together.
Jeremy and Darenda Newman founded Crown with almost nothing—just determination, faith, and a desire to create a different kind of legacy. Jeremy grew up in a broken home and in poverty, experiences that shaped his belief that a business should be more than a paycheck. It should be a place where a family can stand shoulder to shoulder, serve others with compassion, and build something meaningful that lasts.
From the beginning, Crown became our modern-day family farm. When disaster struck in our community, it was all hands on deck. Our sons—Brandon, Dristen, Nathan, and Austin—worked countless long nights, often giving and sacrificing in ways that made building this dream possible. They learned early what it means to show up for people in their hardest moments, helping lay the foundation for what Crown is today.
The Heart Behind Crown
When the toughest jobs needed to be done, Darenda was always there—leading demolition, hauling debris, climbing the tallest ladders (since Jeremy is afraid of heights), or simply being a steady and comforting presence for families going through chaos. She has always been the heart of the company.
Our daughters have also been an important part of this journey. Ava, our oldest, continues to work alongside Jeremy today, carrying forward the values Crown was built on. Nadia, the youngest, grew up around the business, learning the ins and outs while bringing joy to the entire family. She is now pursuing her own dreams of becoming a wife and a mother, following in Darenda’s footsteps with grace and purpose.

Over the years, Crown has grown beyond disaster restoration and now serves customers across multiple trades, including plumbing. One of the greatest blessings of that growth has been the people who have joined our team along the way.
